Kingdoms of the Dump Endings — Spoiler Guide
Use the kingdoms of the dump endings guide to separate the documented credits route from player interpretation, v1.1 cutscene changes, and unknowns.
Only one Kingdoms of the Dump ending sequence is currently documented, and no reviewed official source confirms good, bad, true, or alternate endings. v1.1 changed or restored cutscene content, so old videos cannot prove the exact current sequence.
How many endings are documented?
The reviewed evidence supports one documented credits route. Two older full ending videos use the singular word “Ending,” and the main community story discussion talks about one shared outcome. No official source in the research confirms a good ending, bad ending, true ending, or a set of alternate conclusions.
That is not the same as proving that other endings can never exist. Absence from the reviewed sources only limits what this page can claim today. The precise v1.1 answer is: one ending sequence is publicly documented, while hidden or alternate endings are Awaiting verification.
What the achievements do not prove
Steam lists hidden story achievement names including “Destroyed the All Seeing 8-Ball” and “Peace in the Lands of Fill.” Because their public descriptions are blank, those names do not prove an unlock action, a branching structure, or conditions for multiple outcomes. They are useful only as a record of the hidden names Steam displays.
The achievement page also leaves many story descriptions hidden, which prevents a spoiler-free checklist from revealing exact triggers. A hidden achievement attached to the known credits route should not be reinterpreted as a separate ending. Awaiting verification: whether any v1.1 achievement can be earned only through a meaningful narrative choice.
Final sequence and post-boss save
Official v1.0.10 notes say the developers fixed the final sequence after the final boss and added a save. This confirms that the post-boss flow and saving behavior were actively changed after launch. It does not provide the point of no return, the exact save position, or a guaranteed cleanup route for the current build.
The v1.1 update later restored cut content and improved or added cutscenes. Because of that change, videos recorded in November 2025 cannot prove that every shot, line, or transition remains identical. Players approaching the finale should keep a manual pre-finale save when possible, but the exact safe location is Awaiting verification rather than an established route step.
Full story spoilers from the old community discussion
The old community discussion centers on Dustin becoming king and Cerulean making a sacrifice. These are player descriptions of the ending they saw, not a developer-authored synopsis. They are included here only to answer the spoiler intent behind the keyword and must remain separated from official facts.
Players disagreed about Cerulean’s final state. Some read the scene as a death, while others thought the ending deliberately left room for a different interpretation. This guide does not choose one reading and present it as canon; Cerulean’s precise fate remains an interpretation unless v1.1 or an official statement resolves it.
Do companion quests change the ending?
A separate community report indicates that some Ferris Wheel companion dialogue can vary with personal quest progress. Dialogue variation can make a playthrough feel more responsive, but it is not evidence of a different final ending. No reviewed source connects that conversation change to a separate boss result, epilogue, or credits route.
The broader effect of companion quests is therefore Awaiting verification. Current-version testing would need to compare equivalent finale saves with different quest states and document every changed scene. Until then, this site describes these as possible dialogue variations, not ending branches.
What v1.1 may have changed
The official v1.1 announcement confirms restored content and changed cutscenes but does not itemize an alternate ending. It is valid to say that the presentation may differ from old recordings. It is not valid to claim that v1.1 added a true ending simply because it restored material.
A proper comparison should record the same final route on a v1.1 save and line it up with the older published sequence. Only observable differences should be reported, with choices, quest completion, and version recorded. Awaiting verification: any new epilogue scenes, altered dialogue, or added post-credits moment.
Point of no return and cleanup status
The reviewed material does not establish the exact point of no return. It also does not confirm whether a post-game save returns the player before the final battle, opens a free-roam state, or locks any remaining quests. The old update says a save was added after the final boss, but its current location and available actions require a v1.1 check.
For now, completion-focused players should treat the finale as version-sensitive and preserve an earlier save. That is a risk-management suggestion, not proof of a missable ending. The current state of New Game Plus, chapter replay, hidden epilogues, and complete post-game cleanup is Awaiting verification.
