Kingdoms of the Dump Achievement Guide — 42 List
Use this kingdoms of the dump achievement guide to review all 42 Steam achievements, 25 public conditions, 17 hidden entries, and v1.1 gaps.
Kingdoms of the Dump has 42 Steam achievements: 25 show public tracker conditions, while 17 story or spoiler entries still lack public descriptions and verified v1.1 triggers.
Kingdoms of the Dump has 42 Steam achievements. Steam publishes conditions for 25 of them and hides the descriptions for the other 17. That means a complete name list is possible, but a verified v1.1 route to every unlock is not.
This guide preserves the public Steam wording and separates hidden names from confirmed requirements. It does not use global unlock rates because those values change over time, and it does not convert achievement thresholds into claims about the total number of quests, shrines, or zones in the game.
Achievement Overview and Spoiler Warning
The 25 public entries cover timed-hit results, defeated-enemy totals, collected currency or materials, Scrap Shrines, Hidden Zones, environmental combat interactions, stove and bottle uses, and side-quest milestones. Their Steam descriptions can be used as checklist conditions.
The remaining 17 names appear to track story or spoiler progress, but Steam does not expose their descriptions on the reviewed achievement page. Their names are listed later for completeness. Reading them may reveal location, event, or boss names even though their exact triggers remain Awaiting verification.

These are conditions, not route instructions. The wording does not specify where to perform an action, whether progress carries between saves, or when Steam updates each counter.
Combat and Timed-Hit Achievements
The public combat trackers include 10 and 100 WOWs, totals of 50, 100, and 250 defeated foes, and defeating three enemies in one turn. Four environmental actions also have explicit ten-use conditions: knocking an enemy into another enemy, igniting Oil, creating a Regen Tile, and electrocuting Water.
The list verifies the actions and thresholds only. It does not identify an optimal enemy, encounter, skill, party, or farming location. Awaiting verification: whether failed or repeated actions count, whether progress is save-specific, and the fastest legitimate v1.1 setup for each tracker.
Scrap Shrines, Hidden Zones, and Field Pickups
Scrap Shrine milestones appear at 5, 10, and 20. Hidden Zone milestones also appear at 5, 10, and 20. Field pickup trackers require 500 and 1,000 Metals, while Clips have public goals at 500 and 5,000. Stove use and Empty Bottle filling each have a ten-use achievement.
Do not read the highest public threshold as a proven world total. “Find 20 Scrap Shrines” confirms what the achievement requests, not that exactly 20 shrines exist. The same boundary applies to Hidden Zones. Awaiting verification: a coordinate-and-screenshot list for every qualifying location, any counter exceptions, and whether v1.1 additions changed the available total.
Side Quest Achievements
The three published side-quest milestones are straightforward: Helpful Rube at 5 completed side quests, Fetching Young Lad at 10, and Hero of the Dump at 25. These are the only quest totals that the achievement page itself proves.
Steam does not provide the full quest names, rewards, missability rules, or a one-playthrough guarantee. A threshold of 25 also does not prove that the game contains exactly 25 side quests. Awaiting verification: the full v1.1 quest list, which entries count toward Steam, and whether any must be completed before an irreversible story transition.
The 17 Hidden Achievement Names
Steam hides the descriptions for these entries:
- Battle with Bluebin
- Act 1 - The Trashpicking
- Mountains Out of Anthills
- Save the King
- Act 2 - The Hands of Grime
- Recycled Clash
- Reaching the Bookshelf
- Threading the Needle
- Act 3 - The Knicks of Knack
- Down Comes the Mountain
- Crossing the Rubicon
- Garbage Skies
- Act 4 - War of the Waste
- Dump Wide Open
- Grimewarp Trio
- Destroyed the All Seeing 8-Ball
- Peace in the Lands of Fill
Several names resemble chapter, location, battle, or story markers, but the names alone do not prove the unlock action. Exact v1.1 triggers for all 17 remain Awaiting verification.
Community Clue for Grimewarp Trio
Community report: one player reply says that Grimewarp Trio occurs after talking with Bagatha. A single reply is not enough to establish the required story state, location, dialogue choice, or achievement timing.
Use that report only as a lead if the achievement did not unlock during normal progress. Do not treat it as a complete method. The other 16 hidden entries have no reviewed community directions in the supplied material.
v1.1 100% Checklist Boundaries
A safe checklist can track the 25 public conditions exactly as written and mark the 17 hidden names separately. It cannot yet promise a no-miss route. Keep multiple saves if you are testing hidden triggers, but understand that this is conservative practice rather than an official requirement.
Awaiting verification: all hidden triggers, the locations of 20 qualifying Scrap Shrines and Hidden Zones, the complete set of counted side quests, missability, and whether one v1.1 playthrough can unlock all 42 achievements. Until those gaps are closed, this is a verified achievement list with a mixed-status route, not a complete platinum-style walkthrough.
